H.E. Nararya S. Soeprapto is appointed as the Deputy Secretary-General (DSG) of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs for 2024 – 2027. He will support the Secretary-General of ASEAN in providing strategic direction and guidance on corporate, legal and public affairs as well as outreach activities.

Daily, he will oversee the implementation of administration and general affairs, finance and budget, human resources, information technology, information resource management, community outreach, stakeholder engagements, protocol, conference and formalities, legal affairs, programme cooperation and project management, among others.

In the last 29 years, DSG Nararya has served in various appointments across government, inter-governmental and non-governmental organizations, private sector, and associations, where he has continued to maintain a strong role on ASEAN matters. In those capacities, he has worked on various projects and community related programs in the region. In his undertaking, he has a passion for nurturing organizational growth with people at its core.

He holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University, England and a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Management and International Studies, Webster University, Austria.
